Threshold ministries

Open Door is our small group discipleship ministry at Threshold Ministries.  Open Door groups are one of the most exciting facets of our church life. It is where real Christian living occurs through the sharing of lives so that each person can walk closer to God. We all struggle in this life. Open Door groups will provide you the support and Godly foundation that will hold you up during life's challenges. A small group is not just another Bible class or church fellowship; it is an environment that applies Biblical principles to life's joys and pains.

At this time Open Door groups are just now beginning to form.  The following interests are the type of groups we would like to offer.  If you are interested in being a part of any of these or other groups, please contact us. 

Technology
Cameras, IPods, Mac, Bluetooth. Do you know what these are? If so you might be a “Techie”. The Technology group is interested in electronics, the internet, and other technological and digital gadgets.

Sports
Tennis, Baseball, Chess, Bowling, Pool, Hunting. Do you like sports anytime, anywhere? Do you collect sports memorabilia? Can’t wait to see or attend that next sporting event? The Sports group is for anyone who is interested in team sports and activities.

Creative Arts
Do you find yourself creating and making new things? Can you cook like Rachel Ray, Emeril, and Martha Stewart? Do you quilt or scrapbook? Home decorating a specialty of yours? The Arts and Crafts group is for anyone who is interested in creating special memories homemade.

Entertainment
Could you win a game of name that tune? Do you have a favorite movie(s) that you feel everyone needs to see? Have you seen all of Tyler Perry’s plays and movies? If you answered yes to any of these questions then the Entertainment group is for you. Anyone who is interested in fine arts and culture, music, movies, theater is invited.

Book Club
Your Best Life Now, How to Handle the Reoccurring Self, Captivating, Commanding Your Morning. Are you a person who enjoys reading great books? The Book Club group is for anyone who is interested in reading great literature.

Travel Group
The Beach. DC Cherry Blossoms. Bahamian Coral Reef. Hotels. Airplanes. Do you like to travel and get away? Has it been a while since your last vacation? Ready to explore new places, see new sights, new destinations? The Travel group is for anyone interested in travel.

Style
Super 100’s vs. Polyester Blend. Full Windsor or Half Windsor? Are French rolls and Beehives still in? I’m going bald, should I get a toupee? The Style group is for anyone interested in style, fashion, hair issues, and personal presentation.

Entrepreneur
Are you business savvy or have a business idea? Would you like to know and understand the steps needed to write a business plan? Please join this group to learn how to handle your business.

Spoken Word
A group designed for people who love to use words to express themselves; poetry, speaking, or publishing. This group is for you! Snap your fingers and say “this group is for me.”

Industrial Arts
Are you good with your hands? Do you like to fix machines, cars, etc? Well this group will allow you to explore and showcase your many talents!
